LOST DOG!!*************************?

i have lost my 3 year old husky. She was wearing tags and now has been gone for 2 days. I have put flyer's up all around town and even gave one to mailman. i have called ALL the shelters and filled out reports. i put her picture in the miami herald and my information. I also posted her picture on other websites and volunteers from a siberian husky rescue in florida are helping me look for her. i am worried that someone might have her and doesn't want to give her back. Is there anything else i can do?

this is her most recent picture

offer a reward and if you haven't already, add on your flyers that your dog needs medication for a condition. Many times people who are thinking of keeping a dog that is not their own will return a dog for money if they feel it has a physical illness of some sort. It could help you get your dog back. Of course, they could just be returning the dog out of good conscience or because they found the dog and saw your flyer. But for an unethical person that may have found your dog and is keeping it, the reward is more appealing than holding on to a "sick" dog.
I really hope you get your dog back! If there is a national database for missing dogs, I'd sign up for that one as well because I used to work with a lost and found service and there were a few cases where owner and dog were reunited after a long search and sometimes hundreds or even thousands of miles away.
Also, it's good to make the rounds of your area shelters every few days. This way, people will get to know you and are more apt to call if your dog comes thru their shelter.

It really sounds like you're doing all you can. Huskys are such beautiful dogs, I bet someone has her. Good luck, I really hope you get her back.

I think the best thing you can do now, is wait. I know it's hard but i'm not sure if there's really anything else that can be done. You could try going to nearby houses and knock on their doors to see if they've seen her.

good luck!

You really sound like you're doing all you can. I would also send an email to all the people in your town (if you can). Also go to http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites and put an ad up in your area. I believe they are free.

I hate to say this but someone is probably keeping her as there pet. She is a beautiful dog. Put a add looking for her on craigslist. Maybe offer a reward check animal shelters and the pound, put a ad in the penny saver if you have it there. Good luck.
