Siberian Husky sick? HELP?

Ok we have a almost 2 year old siberian husky named Tucker and he has a very sensitive digestive system. If he eats something like ice cream or something dogs can't eat, he gets sick and has diarrhea (sorry, eww). But its constant, all the time and its annoying because he is kinda bad and is a counter-surfer and eats certain things and then gets sick. Our vet tried putting some stuff in his food to make him not get so sick, but it worked and then it came back. I am gonna take him to the vet soon, but I'm not sure if this is really serious or not?

Is this really serious? Should I rush to the vet? Is there anything I can do?

He needs to eat the same food at the same time daily and consistantly. You should put everything and anything that could be dangerous out of his reach, and out of his reach well, because they can sniff out almost anything! Some stuff that you may leave on the counter and might not think anything of it could end up being very dangerous to him. I would call and update your vet about the meds quitting working if you're not seeing him really soon, within the next week or so, but if you put everything away and he can't get into anything it shouldn't be an emergency. Hope this helps.

You really need to be extra careful that you keep food out of his reach. Stick a note on your fridge or something to remind you. Such a simple thing could keep your dog healthy and save you money at the vet's.

It's very serious that your dog does not get fed table food. He should only eat his food. I know this can be very hard. We are doing the samething. It does pay off for him and for the wallet. My vet suggested we give our dog over the counter acid reducer or peptobismal. It won't hurt. Just be sure he is well hydrated since he is pooping alot. Gatorade is great for your dog in this situation. Good Luck!
