Puppy Names For A Siberian Husky?
Hi, I am thinking of getting a Siberian Husky. I want a male. And have decided on two names: Sh'nook and Rusty. When I was little, I always wanted a Siberian Husky, and I wanted to name it Rusty. But I also really like the name Sh'nook. Which do you like best?
I have done research…and my friend owns one, and I got to work with it, and I grew to love them!
I have a huge property out in the country, and I go to horse farm (where I bored my horses), and dogs are welcome there. So it will have lots of room to run!
Rusty because that is what you grew up wanting. That's cute.

Apopa means "snow dog" in Inuit. The o is long, as in pope.

First off I think you should do Research on Siberian Husky behavior. I always wanted one to and I could not handle the dog and had to give her away to a new home. second after you do tour research and if you still want one I like Sh'nook because and i don't like Rusty because it is to common.

I would go by what it looks like. I have had two huskies a female I named Aurora and now a male named Cody. I hope you have done your research on them. They need lots of room to run and tons of attention. They are very very smart dogs, great escape artist and when bored they find something to get into. Huskies are not for everyone. We have a local husky rescue and I see how many people want them cause they are so beautiful, but not prepared to handle them. Not saying your not prepared I just hope you've researched them and know what they need. I love dogs and think the key is to find the dog that fits your life style. good luck.

Those are both *extremely* common Siberian names.
Having a "huge" amount of property isn't what counts…it's having a properly fenced-in yard. A Siberian will take off and just keep going — especially if they have a buddy. They don't get tired and come back when they reach the end of your 40 acres.
The same goes for the horse farm — what you'll have is a Siberian chasing peoples' horses. I'm sure that won't make you very popular, and you'll be asked to leave your dog at home (unless it's kicked by a horse first).
This is not the breed for everyone. Please research them very carefully before you decide to get one.
