What place in smartness does a Siberian husky come in for dogs?
a list of top smartest dogs would help too
a siberian husky is actually on the top of the list.
all dogs are smart; it just depends on how well you train them.
depending on what you need or want this breed of dog for, in my opinion, you will be pleased.

Well, the Husky is closer to the bottom than the top, sad to say. Any dog that could be HAPPY pulling a sled all day can't be all that bright.

I don't know what place but the breed is VERY smart — too smart for most people in fact. Unfortunately this breed is sometimes owned by people who have no idea what type of dog they are dealing with and when that dog doesn't come when called, it gets classified as "stupid."
Another thing to keep in mind is that the majority of these lists measure the dogs eagerness to please (hence why the independent / strong willed breeds don't score to well) Eagerness to please isn't the definition of "smartness"!! so do not take these lists too seriously.
