anything with a coat similar to a husky will shed like a husky.
Breeds that shed less are poodles, schnauzer airedales.. they have a single coat that continues to grow.
ALL dogs with hair shed, but some breeds shed minimal amounts, such as poodles.

Huskies, malamutes, wolf-hybrids are ALL shedders. You could get some kind of husky mix, but they're still going to shed or they won't look like a husky.

I have 2 huskies and the shedding is really not that big of a deal. I brush them daily, twice daily when they get their winter and summer coats and it's pretty easily controlled with a little effort.

I have owned a siberian husky and she was great.unfortunately I don't know of any dogs that look like them without the shedding.the reason they shed so much is because they have a double coat so a lot of brushing is required.

An Akita Inu does not shed AS MUCH but does shed quite a bit. Usually they only shed twice a year. They are beautiful well trained dogs.

None. They are worth the shedding!

To put it simply, there are NO Arctic/Northern breeds that shed very little. It is characteristic for all Northern breeds to have a double coat. The bottom coat, known as the undercoat, is all the fluffy stuff that comes out and ends up on your furniture, carpet, and yes, all of your favorite shirts and pants.
If you want a medium/large sized non-shedding dog, I would suggest dogs with the "fleecy" type coat. These types are alot like human hair. Yes, they shed a bit, but not enough to be noticed.
Try:
Bichon Frises
Poodles (Toy, Miniature, Standard)
Bedlington Terriers
Havanese
Irish Water Spaniel
Portuguese Water Dogs
Schnauzers (Miniature, Standard, Giant)
Chinese Shar Pei
Lakeland Terrier
Welsh Terrier
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
Note, that just because some of these dogs don not shed, does not mean that grooming is any easier. Alot of the terrier type breeds require hand stripping, which is best done by an EXPERIENCED groomer if you have never done it before. The hair on Poodles, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, and Portuguese Water Dogs, also does not shed, but the coat must be maintained by clipping. Otherwise, you will end up with a gross, matted, and unhealthy dog and you will be forced to shave the dog down to the skin— NOT a pretty sight!
Good luck!
