Cesar the Siberian Husky just needed to stretch his legs!
Hi Andrew,
I actually have two Siberians, a male and a female.
My female’s name is Zoey, and she is three years old.
She is a stunning wolf grey colour, with splashes of black, cream, and reddish brown.
She was a rescue dog from a neglectful home where she and another dog were locked
inside an apartment for 3 or 4 days at a time, where they were forced to drink from the
toilet and ration their food. When I first brought her home, she was terrified, grossly underweight,
and she was so under-socialized with other animals she was fear-agressive towards any other dog.
But through a lot of love, care, and work Zoey is now thriving. She has gained about 15 lbs, and
she loves going for walks and playing with other dogs. She is such a loving animal, who likes to
snuggle up on the couch beside you, and sleeps at the foot of the bed with my fiancee and I.
My second Siberian is a male, named Cesar. He is one and a half years old, and is wolf grey with
white and reddish brown. He has a face mask that makes him look a little like a raccoon. I also adopted Cesar
from a home where he was not getting the exercise he needed, so he was making a habit of jumping the
backyard fence and running away. His owner was terribly sad to give him up, but knew he couldn’t provide
a proper home for Cesar. When we brought him home, he and Zoey became instant friends. They love to
sing together, play, and go for long walks and runs through the park. These two mischievous fiends are the
light of my life. So many people stop me on the street and ask me how I handle these two enormous bundles
of energy, and I just laugh and tell them that when you love huskies the way I do, you just handle it.
